I ran into Ralph (who I met at a gallery opening at bent a couple of months ago) at the Mission Gold Line stop this morning. On the way to Union Station, we talked a little about how South Pasadena has changed over the past 10 years. I didn't realize that an Amtrak railway ran through town before the Gold Line. He said it would shake the house off its foundation when it passed. Makes me wonder about the people who complain about the noise of the Gold Line. To be fair, though, I don't live next to the tracks so I don't know what it's like.
