The Wild Tomatoes of South Pasadena

I mentioned the tomato plant growing in front of Heirloom awhile back. Now I have a picture of it. I just asked Sally, the owner of Heirloom, if she planted it. She said that she didn't, but said that when she first moved in she noticed tomato plants growing wild in the alley next to the restaurant.

I'll bet they're remnants of one of the gardens of the old houses that got moved from that site. I miss those houses - always wanted to live in one.
