Construction Malfunction

My wife had an accident in front of our apartment last Friday. I know that it is easy to point fingers when something bad happens. And I should say as a point of disclosure that the accident was ruled as my wife's fault. Still, as I've thought about it more, I've been disappointed by how infrequently I have seen police officers at the intersection of Orange Grove and the 110 while the construction has been happening. A pedestrian who stopped and spoke with Thena after the accident said he heard that there have been 28 accidents on Orange Grove since construction has begun.

On the other hand, I was driving past Busters the other day and saw about 3 firetrucks and a whole slew of police officers. My rubber-necking discovered that an old man had fallen down and there were 6 police officers clustered around him putting a band-aid on his knee while he grinned happily at the attention.

Where is the justice?

Yes, Jill. Thanks for asking--I should have mentioned it in my post. She did experience some soreness, but other than that she's okay.
