Building community in South Pasadena, California

Aw, hell. I only at there once every couple of months, but I loved the food.
I hear you; it's one of those places you could easily take for granted. I've been to Father Nature in Old Town once and was impressed with the lavash wrap that I tried. Have you been there?
This is sad news. The Foul Madammas at breakfast was a rare treat, a great way to start the day. The next best place is Wahib's in Alhambra. A little farther away but amazingly authentic and tasty. With all of the talk of re-development in South Pas it is sad to see that a GREAT place couldn't sustain itself.
Bummed to see them go...they had rocking hummus and falafal.
I didn't like their food, honestly. You can still get some Zankou Chicken near PCC, but you're better of checking-out spots in Glendale or North Hollywood if you want that kind of food.
Spitz in Eagle Rock is awesome if you're into doner kebabs.http://la.foodblogging.com/2005/11/04/eagle-rocks-spitz-home-of-the-doner-kebab/Gerlack's Grill isn't so bad either
